the BGC builds maintains and also adopts community gardens each of which is maintained by members of the community and members of our organization. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, our garden offers a supportive and welcoming environment for all. We are always looking for new members, volunteers, donations and so much more! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want to do something good for your community!

Welcome to the JACKSON COMMUNITY GARDEN!
The Buttheadz Growers Club Community Garden located at 932 W Jackson Blvd, Jackson, Mo 63755
The Jackson Community Garden is a community garden that was built by the BGC, we started the JCG in 2023 to help fight food insecurities in the area by growing fresh produce and donating what's grown, to the families in need in our community and we also donate to the SEMO FOOD BANK. We grow our fresh produce in our raised garden beds, and they are maintained and harvested by members of our organization and those community members that volunteer. Without the help of the community and businesses alike we would not be able to say that last year alone we donated over a ton of fresh produce to the SEMO FOOD BANK for the year of 2025. We hope with the two new gardens that we have adopted and added to the list of BGC Community Gardens that we will be able to double the amount of fresh produce that we can donate to fight food insecurities in our area and much further!
Welcome to the SOUTH FOUNTAIN STREET COMMUNITY GARDEN!
The BGC South Fountain Street Community Garden located at 743 S Fountain Street, 63703
The South Fountain Street Community Garden is a community garden that was recently adopted by the BGC at the beginning of the year 2026.It was previously maintained and cared for by Mr. Robert Harris jr. (R.I.P Mr. Harris) He was growing and donating what fresh produce in this garden to help fight food insecurities in his community. The BGC was lucky enough to work with him during the end of 2025 to begin a partnership between the BGC and Mr. Harris and with the help of the SEMO Horticulture Group but unfortunately, that was no able to happen due to his passing. We are keeping this garden and Mr. Harris's dream alive, and we are asking anyone that would like to help or donate to our organization please do so, we need all the help we can get! This wonderful addition to the Jackson Community Garden and will help us grow so much more food than we ever have before and feed so many more people also! Volunteers needed!
Welcome to the WASHINGTON STREET COMMUNITY GARDEN!
The BGC Washington Street Community Garden located-500 Washington Street, Cape Girardeau, Mo 63701
The Washington Street Community Garden will be the second community garden adopted by the BGC 2026 and our third community garden that we will be maintaining and growing fresh produce that will be donated to SEMO Food Bank. With this community garden we are planning to grow mostly herbs and spices and possibly in the future start a holistic garden at this location, where we can teach our members how to grow their own medicine and how to use them properly. But FIRST we have to save this garden and get it back to a usable condition and we need you to help us SAVE THE WASHINGTON STREET GARDEN! Come out and join us on March 29th 2pm-4pm
